I never thought I’d be out of bed by 8am never mind already exploring the street by then. It was the perfect time to take in all of the spectacles and take plenty of photos as 99% of the people in the city were still hungover in bed. It took mum approximately 5 minutes per photo to figure out how to use an iPhone camera but we still managed to get some great photos. Starting in Paris, we then headed to Rome (Caesar’s Palace, which was everything I imagined it would be after seeing Joey work there on Friends), and onto the tropical paradise of The Mirage.
Inside, The Mirage was a lot classier than some of the other hotels. The bars and restaurants looked elegant and sophisticated and the lobby boasted an indoor rainforest. Outside was no different with a giant waterfall, tropical garden and volcano, which goes off every half an hour between 8pm and midnight. It’s a definite must see. Our last stop was The Venetian, unarguably the most impressive thing we saw today. Not only do they have canals and gondolas inside the hotel, they also have this astonishing replica of an Italian square (above) which is indoors! Yeah!! That’s picture was taken INDOORS!! Surrounded by designer shops, this really was a fantastic place to be. Definitely going to go back for another look.
